I think it partly has to do with an actor that I resemble who is in everything right now. Maybe, my look - although not great, is in style right now?
Btw, I wouldn’t date these people - I’m happily married.
I hate to say it but there is definitely a subset of men who look better at 50 than at 20.

Sometimes it's related to parent issues (dad or mom) and sometimes it has more to do with bad experiences with boys or men their own age.
Or it's a sugar daddy issue; the only time I had a peer attracted to a much older man was when we was spending a boat load of money on her. She did bring up things like emotional and physical compatability, but we all knew it was all about the money and the relationship didn't last long term.

She never said she wants to marry an older guy or try to have his children. She's just attracted to them which can mean anything from a relationship stand point. I'm in my 60s, still have all my teeth and most of my hair, barely a wrinkle on my face and I'm in great health. No one guesses my age within 15 years and I mostly date women in their 40s to mid 50s. But I'm realistic about it. I don't see any of them being my nurse maid when I'm much older and I'm sure they don't either.
