I hate to say it but there is definitely a subset of men who look better at 50 than at 20.
I agree but between 60-65 their age catches up to them and they lose it; even the ones who are on testosterone and really fit still have sun damaged skin, loss of bone density which ages their faces, most have receding or white/grey hair, etc. By 65, even the previously good looking men start looking frail and old.

I do have money but you’d never know. I’m a reasonably stylish dresser but I’m not flashy at all.

I was definitely a late bloomer. I was tall and skinny which is not a great look. Then, I was a avid bike racer (road and mountain) which made me look even worse. Once I got into lifting and put on quite a bit of muscle plus got older looking it really seemed to change things.

Maybe because these men eventually do want long term relationships and we, the younger women, already experienced it in practice, what dating a much older man is ?
That’s also absolutely untrue that older men are more communal, want to invest in relationship more, or can be good mentors.

I’m a mid 40s woman. Dated a 62 yo great looking bachelor once. He had a great function in bed, was insanely rich. But he had some signs of mental decline and was treating me as if I was a child. Even wanted me to call him daddy. I eventually couldn’t remain sexually attracted to it he just seemed frozen in the same old pattern of behavior since his 20s.

It's funny how all the women in this thread are projecting a long-term relationship for her and giving her warnings. She never said she wants to marry an older guy or try to have his children. She's just attracted to them which can mean anything from a relationship stand point. I'm in my 60s, still have all my teeth and most of my hair, barely a wrinkle on my face and I'm in great health. No one guesses my age within 15 years and I mostly date women in their 40s to mid 50s. But I'm realistic about it. I would not do it. My DH is 8 years older than me. I’m in my 40s and he’s in his 50s, and we try to stay healthy and active but the physical differences are already showing, and impacting the time we spend together. IMO men are in their prime in their mid-late 30s. I would stick with someone your age and in 20 years, they will be 50 too.

Not all 60 yo are built the same. My husband will turn 60 in March and he is fit, doesn’t have a paunch or gray hair. Most people would look at him and think he is 45. Also, FWIW, he doesn’t need ED meds. He would be up for s3x 4 times a week. (Menopause has made me the issue there)
His brother OTOH is aging poorly. He is 58, with gray, thinning hair and a large paunch. You would never think that my husband is the older brother. They have a sister too. Most people who don’t know them would think my husband is the youngest.
