Are you calling for peace in the Middle East? I feel like I've heard this before time and time and time again. In fact, you can search and find threads on this wonderful forum from 10 to 15 years ago with the exact same dialogue as what you can find in this forum since the most recent Israel/Gaza conflict began. Temporary peace is not peace.

As a Jewish Democrat, I am not remotely worried about Trump betraying Israel (and I obviously don't believe in the Antichrist) — Israel needed to have ended this war a very long time ago and shouldn't have been conducting it the way it was. So your idea is that people’s hypothetical approval of a meaningful and lasting peace deal (which would be amazing!) would mean that people would just ignore his domestic misdeeds and just general moral squalor?

Because I’d be first to praise a lasting peace from a deal of his but because I am not an infant playing peekaboo I’d still retain knowledge of his gross malevolence generally.
