They should be dumb and go contrary to every school, city agency and sports club in the world who have been using artificial turf for 40 years because it is durable.
Yeah, but this is not 1985. We know a lot more now about the various environmental and safety issues with artificial turf. We also have a much better solution in the form of hybrid turf, which is what is used at Audi Field and many other modern stadiums.
