in her video today her sole credential seems to be the fact that she's "been through it hersef" and is now remarried. Going through a divorce doesn’t make you qualified to coach people in divorce it just means you’ve survived your own. Therapy/coaching takes training not just the same backstory as someone else and some opinions. Shouldn't divorce coaching also involve some level of legal traning?

Good therapists don’t need to parade their personal stories as proof. But for a wannabe influencer with zero self-awareness, turning her rebound into a business model tracks. Why heal quietly when you can tell everyone else what to do, self-apoint yourself as an expert, and feed your own ego? According to her ex's girlfriend she's a walking hot mess, but she thinks her life is a masterclass and wants to get paid to tell other people about it.

I feel bad for her too. And Jen. I've never understood in the Hatmaker chat the people who seem to want to blame her or act like she had it coming. Brandon was a drunk and a strip club regular for years and then cheated. Mark slept with Dooce on a family vacation and then bailed on his kids to another state. If I remember correctly, Jamie Wright's husband also cheated and then moved away from their kids, and Glennon's husband was also a serial cheater. I think we can criticize these women's public platforms but also not blame them for the bad behavior of the men they married. Honestly the older I get the more I'm watching men I thought were solid spiral into affairs in middle age, this isn't unique to infliuencers and they didn't cause this. In the last five years my pastor and an elder of our church strayed from their marriages. My friends whose husbands have cheated have been devastated and so have their kids even without all of this playing out in public. I am sure all of this is awful for these women and for their kids.


No and here is why. They took money from hard working Americans for sympathy?? They are con women all of them. Nothing they have ever done is good for anyone but them. They would take your last $.

She is a “certified” divorce coach. No idea what that means. Shes now a “relationship coach” and in between that and divorce coaching she was a “dating coach for men”. All over the place. Shirtless has been in the therapist game for years, and probably has some skills. But is Anna latching onto his coattails to seem like they are an actual therapist team or couple?

The way these folks talk about "finally" finding love is such a disservice to their exes and children. Unless your ex was abusive, just shut up.

I thought this was an exageration but then saw that video. She actually says she "won the divorce superbowl." The lack of self-awareness and narcissism here is bonkers. No you have not won the divorce superbowl by marrying a shirtless dudebro who moved away from his own kids. And your own ex's girlfriend thinks you're so hard to deal with that she's writing into relationship podcasts looking for help.

Yeah it all just seems incredibly rehearsed and inauthentic. I don’t know either of them personally, I just can’t imagine her talking all over the place like that coming off as professional or enticing as a “coach” - which I still don’t know anyone who hires a coach over a licensed, trained professional

Mark cannot possibly keep up with the second Mrs Howerton. Our kids went to school together, and he is very chill (and I always found him friendly.) Unless Anna can calm down a bit, I can't imagine this going the distance.

It seems Jamie found a nice, normal guy and they’ve been together for years. She was working on a book but I don’t know if she will ever finish it because I don’t think she’ll ever get over Jamison’s death.

I wish Jen H would find a similar guy versus the try hard she’s with now.
