Don’t care for Comey but there’s no way these charges stick. They couldn’t get an indictment from the sandwich thrower. They won’t get far with this either. Just more distraction and wasted resources.

You say Trump is immune from prosecution but his staff isn’t? You say judges will hold Trump’s people accountable if they do this? No, no they won’t. They are not going to dare intervene because Trump controls their security via the U.S. Marshals Service. Roberts obviously made a deal with Trump after Congress stiffed the Supreme Court police in the Appropriations mark for FY2026. So now Trump is seeking the money the SCOTUS Police needs to take on full security responsibilities for the SCOTUS justices. In exchange, the Roberts Court continues to serve Trump.

Trump is going to raise the cost of opposing him. With the bullets being scrawled with supposedly anti-Trump messages, the next step will be Trump ordering loyalist troops and National Guard forces to open fire on Democrats. He has to shut down opposition before he’s exposed as less than all-powerful, and he’s going to pull out the stops Nightvof Long Knives-style to do so.

Aren't grand juries's identities confidential?

The left detests Comey, for what he did to Hillary Clinton. Unlike you, but like Rogan, Cruz and other non-leftists who decried Kimmel's temporary cancellation, we do understand what this is about. It's about this White House's attempts to become a dictatorship and suppress any dissent or independent thought.

You should clarify this in your mind.

Here is the thing: this is the tit for tat for all that lawfare committed against Trump. (Many people, not just maga, see the lawsuits against him as lawfare)

If someone strongly believes that lawfare is wrong, they should not condone it even in a tit-for-tat situation.

Strongly disagree. Tit for tat response to lawfare isnt just acceptable, it's politically *obligated*. Trump was right in that tweet that people are wondering why he hasn't done it; you cannot have the dems do this while they are in office and then not retaliate out of principle. You have to retaliate so that there is a sense of mutually assured destruction. Otherwise the left will just pick off the right with prosecutions (and assassinations- we need to see some of these assassins publicly executed after a fair trial).

I hope you're a troll.

Not everyone who disagrees with you is doing it to spite you. Other people have entire lives and worlds that have nothing to do with you.

I never thought you were doing it to spite anyone. Your statements are so deranged that I truly hope you are purposefully looking to joke around, and don't actually believe what you write.

I am friends with a lot of people with opposing views from mine. My own family runs the gamut from communist to very conservative. But none of them are punitive like you. They never advocate for retribution. That is the opposite of what we need to function in society. We need to learn to disagree and still get along, which means not purposefully making others suffer for the heck of it.

Shame on you.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Trump has said on multiple occasions that he wants to destroy his opponents, and that he hates them. That is absolutely unacceptable.

This seems as good a time any to remind the class that although Trump may enjoy limited immunity from prosecution from actions he made in his capacity as the POTUS, this immunity doesn't necessarily apply to his henchmen.

Think long and hard before carrying out Trump's dirty work. He is safe. You are not.
