You need a "lunch nap recess" break. Tell your EA.

My ea consistently books me back to back with zero breaks and I am really struggling. When I talk to her she asks me why I can’t do what I need to do before 1030am. But truly I get so hungry and exhausted. Is anyone else here able to do this type of schedule? Am I being unreasonable?

Ea must be "young" ?
It's exhausting.

And every teacher everywhere.

Most teachers struggle to visit the bathroom once during a 7-8 hour day, and then they rush right to after school activities.

FCPS has recess.

Only because we fought for it - and even still, many Middle Schools think of recess as kids sitting at their desks quietly.

Op - she will book over it

Then you need to decline those meetings and ask her to reschedule every single time.

Anonymous wrote:Don't share your calendar and schedule your own meetings. There's this thing called "propose new time" (amazing! us plebs do it all the time) - just send out a proposal with the meeting starting 15 minutes later or ending 15 minutes earlier once in a while. It's very reasonable.

Also, are your meetings efficient?

+1

Also, block out time for yourself including lunch and breathing room between meetings.

Probably more of case where OP is terrible at managing their EA. Why is the EA dictating the schedule. EA should be executing based on OPs needs.

Forget lunch. What about bathroom breaks? EA needs to be reprimanded.

Only a troll would be scared of their EA.

Why is your EA calling the shots?

i block “focus time” on my calendar every day for 3 hour blocks and use that for correspondence, writing, strategy. Just put in blocks of time where you need it.

Give her a formal reprimand. It’s not acceptable to be overruling your boss like this. Insubordination
