Very little investment for likely a 1-2 day event where all the teams can watch players in a near-pro level competitive environment. It would allow for players outside those leagues to show up and compete like a walk-on in college. More of a level playing field.
Except I think will be invite only.
It will of course be invite only, with the usual gatekeepers handing out the invites and all the politics that comes with it.
After watching last night Angel City/Kansas City game it's pretty apparent you have to have an angle or the right representation because a lot of these players are not professional level soccer players. Mary Long started for KC last night. She has no touch, she showed no attributes on why she would be out there at 18 years old. Then the camera kept going to her parents in the owners boxes as her parent own the team. The announcers clearly were being careful about their critique of her play. I guess we should expect this to happen more often...it's happening at all levels in girls soccer.
Lmao who actually pays to watch female soccer? It’s only good to make money in bets. Crap is so predictable.
