So, it's not really the 5 year age difference. It's where the 2 of them are right now. If neither wants kids, then it's unimportant.
36 is pushing the limits of safe childbearing years, unless you intend to have kids immediately.

Does not matter if the man doesn’t want kids.
I know couples with that difference but they met younger, maybe when woman was 35 and man was 27-28 or something like that and then they have 2 kids when mom is in mid forties and dad is like 40.

This was the age difference between my parents, with my mom being older. The other boys told my dad, "Watch out for her! She's a mankiller!" She was very smart and sexy. It can work out just fine.

41 is getting to be a pretty soft plum. Probably best to start with something a bit fresher.
Pluses and minuses, though, which you have to weigh yourself. Certainly the merchandise is marked down as you approach the use by date.

DH is 6 years older than me. I hit menopause in my early 50s, and he still wanted it several times per week.
If he's low drive, then no problem.
Plenty of my friends in menopause have the same as or higher libidos than before. We are fed all these lies about expiration dates, then you get to an age and realize they weren’t true.
