You're nuts. A toilet is there for a reason. Guests can use it to poop. Let the poor contractor poop-I'm sure he works harder than the OP, who has time to monitor the poor contractor's bowel movements.

I poop wherever I happen to be and always will. If that's at work (which it is most of the time) then so be it. If you don't like it, just wait to use your own bathroom at home. See, it goes both ways.

+1. And speak up if he does something you don't like. If he leaves the toilet seat up, tell him to please put it down. If he leaves debris in the toilet, tell him to please flush twice. I do not deny any person who is in my house the use of a bathroom but they need to be considerate.

No. I have made it clear that my toilets cannot be used. I keep my powder room and my basement toilet locked. I make it clear before work starts.
I also provide water, food, tea/coffee, snacks to people who work for me indoors.
For people who deliver mail, packages or mow my lawn during summer, I provide chilled water bottles, gatorade, snack packs, bug spray, sunscreen, baseball caps (promotional from my company) in my covered porch...for them to take.

I don’t understand people who can plan their poops. For me, the urge comes on randomly once a day, not at a predictable time, and I have to go then. It’s not schedule-able. This is not normal?

If I invite someone into my home - whether personal or professional - they absolutely have the right to use the bathroom. "There used to be some basic contractor courtesy" just like there also used to be some basic human decency.

I poop three times a day, sometimes more. Can I hold it? I guess. But why should I?
I really don't see the big deal here. It doesn't seem as if the contractor was impeding OP's access to the bathroom - she's just angry that he is using it for its intended purpose - the only reason it exists.
