My next door neighbor came over for an evening party and CLOGGED OUR TOILET. FFS. That's when you step off home. It's a no brainer. Don't poop in someone's powder room at a party.
You're nuts. A toilet is there for a reason. Guests can use it to poop. Let the poor contractor poop-I'm sure he works harder than the OP, who has time to monitor the poor contractor's bowel movements.

POOP AT HOME PEOPLE

How long would that take? How much would you complain about the time needed to leave your project and go use the nearest off-site toilet?
You cheaped out. Next time, pay for a portable toilet if this bothers you so much.
I don't mind if he uses the bathroom to pee. Most people don't poop several times a day though, right? Since he was only at my house about 6 hours (or less) each day, I would think he could go poop before coming to my house. And like I said in my OP, I can even understand the occasional emergency, but it was like it was his planned routine plan to poop at our house each day.
The nearest public/business bathrooms to our house are two gas stations, about a 5 minute drive away (they are across the street from each other.) About 5 minutes beyond that in various directions there is a Target, Walmart, and at least 5 large grocery stores. Plus more gas stations and fast food places.
We didn't "cheap out" not getting a porta-potty. It really never occurred to us that it would be necessary. I guess we just assumed that a grown adult could poop at his own house and then go 5-6 hours without pooping again on most days, barring illness/emergency.
So you’d be ok with him taking time away from your project to drive to a gas station or other business to use the toilet? Because, yes, people do need to use the toilet over five or six hours.
Now you know.
They do need to use the toilet to *pee*. Do men have so little control over their bowels that they just poop nonstop?

I already said I expected him to pee at our house.
Poop every 5-6 hours? So most people poop 4 or 5 times a day?
Men do. It's gross. DH is convinced if you have healthy bowels you go after every meal. I disagree...
