Im concerned about some stuff with FCPS but somehow you missed all the issues Im concerned about. Not at all concerned about the issues on your list.

Huh? They had plenty. Not many are qualified since FCPS is one of the largest districts in the country but plenty are interested.

SB just needs to ask the right interview questions and know the correct answers.


For example;

1. What would be your 3 top priorities?
Correct answer: education, education, education

2. What is most important attribute in dealing with stakeholder?

Correct answer: transparency, transparency, transparency

3. Prioritize these 3 groups: students, teachers, support/administrative staff?

Correct answer: 1 students, 2 teachers, 3 support/administrative staff.

4. What is your definition of equity?
Correct answer: providing equal opportunity for all, not lowering the bar to achieve equal outcomes.

Pick the one or from the few who have the correct answers.

This. This is the issue. The board thinks she is doing a great job despite the many scandals and incompetence she has shown. I have tons of issues with her and the board but none are the ones OP listed. The problem is most of the board members aren’t smart enough to follow the issues and are happy to do whatever Reid says. They just go around taking pictures and sending out newsletters with grammatical errors.

Dear Superintendent Reid and Honorable School Board Members,

For your sake and that of Fairfax County students and residents please resign now. Your inability to make any positive decisions defies the laws of probability. You continue to do harm to the students and staff of FCPS.

Please stop embarrassing yourself and Fairfax County step aside before your continued incompetence does irreparable damage to school system.

Sorry, your email is way too long and wordy. More likely to not even be read in its entirety. I strongly recommend making it short and sweet.

When does SB take feedback before these decisions? It feels like they just want me to go to a community meeting in September to complain with my neigh but there's truly no purpose. (More blatantly than usual.)

Go to private, tax dollars wasted here with this SB. Honestly who can you talk to, your kids are a couple of 200,000. 😳
