While, COVID-19 vaccinations had a substantial benefit on global mortality during 2020-2024, this benefit was mostly limited to a minority of the population of older individuals. The overall benefit corresponds to 1 death averted per 5400 vaccine doses. Those aged 0 through 29 years represent approximately half the global population. No worldwide data exist on how many vaccine doses were administered specifically in these age groups. However, if one-sixth of vaccine doses were given to these age groups, benefits would translate to 1 death averted per approximately 100,000 vaccine doses. One might argue that vaccination of younger individuals may have diminished transmission to older, vulnerable individuals. However, vaccination effectiveness regarding infection risk was modest and rapidly waning. False messaging that vaccination will substantially avert transmission may even have backfired.

These agencies are still populated by the same people dedicated civil servants who have been objectively nonpartisan doing their jobs all along. The only people who have changed have been political appointees at the very top of the agencies. Those people you can mistrust but the rank and file is so far the same.
Yeah so what. Sorry but the Schedule C and top appointees are the ones making impact. They are why I drove to Maryland to get a vaccine because AICPA is gutted.
States are coalescing around medical societies for advice and recommendations.
CDC and FDA will be irrelevant.

A child recently died of measles (a preventable disease) because of anti-vax propaganda. PP is not being dramatic.
PP again, actually it was 2 kids in Texas that died from measles. And now Florida is ending childhood vaccine requirements.
Most will be fine. Just the poors will die.
