Met on my first day of college; he was an older man (sophomore!). We are 53.

Met in Grad school age 26, engaged age 31.

He was a PhD student who taught one of my undergrad classes! I was 21, he was 29. Hot for teacher, haha (though we didn’t date until the class ended).

Both 30. Met at a large corporation. That company was Peyton Place, but it worked out for us.

Met in a conference room on both of our first day at work. But we didn't date until over two years later. He didn't want to date any one from work for good reason but I eventually wore him down. We had become good friends and sometimes we did things socially with other coworkers and one night he was driving me home and I invited him in and it went on from there. That was over 30 years ago.

Early 2000s - I was 22, DH 26. My good friend from college was dating his friend and we all met up at a Happy Hour in Dupont Circle.

Most couples (at least ones in first marriage) meet between 20-29 and marry after 1-3 years of dating.

Went to a party. DH was a friend of my girlfriend. We were 22. Got married at 25. Both of us 60 now. I knew as soon as I saw him that he was going to be my DH. Best decision of our lives.

My brother met his physician wife when she was in medical school and he was doing gap year work experience job between college and grad school. I think they dated for 3 years until both got their degrees. Both are very successful and happy together since two decades, mainly because his job is very flexible and portable so he was/is able to support her in ways another busy and competitive physician just couldn't.

Almost every woman physician I know is married to another physician. The few who aren’t usually met their spouse before med school.

Medical school students and residents are so busy that they often just settle out of convenience for whoever is in proximity and also has a busy schedule.

Met at a party when he was 27 and I was 24. That was 32 years ago.

I’m not and met spouse after med school.
