The point is there is nothing else to say. We all have seen the protests day in and day out. We have seen post after posts on message boards saying the same thing over and over. Regardless of where you stand in the defense vs genocide debate I think everyone agrees that an action this large taken by a close ally should receive significant attention.

The story was over on Oct 8. It was obvious that Oct 7 was a terminal miscalculation by the Palestinians, and entirely predictable that nothing short of their complete and definitive neutralization would be an outcome sufficient to ensure future regional security and stability. Only relative Israeli restraint has kept the conflict going this long as it is; the real story is how Hamas has persisted in dragging things out for as long as possible, no matter the consequences, before their inevitable obliteration.

Gaza is actually quite uninteresting, the story doesn't change. Hamas keeps holding hostages, and Israel keeps trying to get them back while also working to prevent the possibility of future Hamas-like activity. It'll be news when the Palestinians are relocated to Somaliland or Sudan, and the hostages are released. After that, it'll all be about putting Gaza to some socially productive use for a change.
