I've known attractive men who were in full blown relationships and had no idea based on their social media feed.



Women are competitive with other women.

Men tend to be more secure and private about their dating life.

The old saying, "Men only talk about their conquests, never their wife/gf, to other men." and it's true.

Most people eventually become more private after experiencing the negative effects of social media. I see many fewer social media posts from my forty-something friends than I saw from the same friends when we were in our twenties.


Cute little kids turn into teens who don’t want to be posted in their mom’s instagram. People go through divorce or start to gain weight.

Same as women showing off engagement rings on social media. Usually women post something about men paying for things for them, buying things for them, being pampered etc. Just a sign of being shallow and materialistic. Then they complain when they break up...

Relax a bit. He was probably talking about other men. I don't think he said anything wrong. Are you saying that women who post about their men on social media aren't proud of them? I work with a lot of women and they talk about their husbands a lot I mean a lot. And they always say positives about them. To me that's a sign of them being proud of their husbands no?


Maybe, especially since most women complain about their husbands to each other. So the ones bragging to you are either super happy or full of it.

Because men and women are judged differently. "Winning" looks different for each.

Woman on Instagram: "People always ask my husband for autographs when we go out to dinner. One of the downsides of being married to a 6'7 man with broad shoulders."

Men on LinkedIn: "Very humbled and honor to be named Chief of Surgery. Excited to lead such a talented and inspiring team."
