I always recommend not getting the team branded parka. Kid swam for 3 club teams, 1 HS team, 1 summer team, and 1 college club team throughout his 13y swim career. He is wearing the parka he got in 8th grade as a college junior.

We started off buying non-team branded parkas. Still not cheap (~$100), but not the $200+ that team branded parkas can cost.

Another vote for a parka. My kids wore theirs every day for 7+ years. I also agree with buying a generic one on Swim Outlet vs buying a team one. You can get the same color as the team, but it will save you a lot of money vs buying the team version
