Early 2025 family of 4 (military) for 1 week:
Shades of Green- around $1600
6-day military park hopper tickets- around $1600
Flights $1000
Probably a couple hundred extra on the lightning lanes and I'll say $1000 on food and other extras because I don't remember. We only used quick service dining in the parks and brought some snacks in with us.
Total- $5000-5500

I don’t think this included our airfare would have to check with my husband.

Each kid got two small souvenirs - like 70 bucks each total.

And this is the high end. For a high end vacation, that price actually isn't bad.

I’ve been to Rome twice. Is it your first time? Do you think people who go to Disney aren’t also well traveled?

NP. Yes, in my experience, people who go to Disney rarely go anywhere else

Well, your experience is limited, right? Let me add one more data point to it.

I was an expat in Central America and have travelled widely (and still do) and I also travel to Disney now and then. Surprise!

Go enjoy your corn dogs and leave us be 🤣🤣🤣

Nobody invited the Disney haters in here. Your participation in something you’re so vehemently against is weird. Joining a conversation that isn’t about you or for you is the height of narcissism.

$13,500 for a family of four staying in a family suite in Art of Animation for 5 nights.

Airline - 2 free tixs with miles
Hotel - stayed swan hotel with Marriott miles so free
Park tickets - bought the special tixs that were 3 parks for $287 per person
Food - brought coffee drinks with us, so breakfast in room with snacks, lunch in parks and random places for dinner, 1 sit down dinner but no character meals.

All in about $1000. For 5 days and 2 people. Less if you discount food since I would have a per day expense for food anyway.

Different poster, but I think it’s a reasonable assumption that a majority of Americans who go to Disney have never left North America
About 25% of the visitors to Disney are from outside of the USA. WDW is a destination for international travelers. They are arriving in droves and spending big money at Disney.
