I would love to but the shoppers keep giving me Applegate not in house low salt roasted turkey. For like 4 years. Complaining does not change this So I go inside. Fussy boomer.

If me or my kid is really hungry we will get something from the deli to eat while we shop. Deli meat, a corn dog, whatever. Just keep the bag with the label, then pay on the way out.

There was a stretch at my grocery store several years ago where Coke added cup holders to carts and they played ads over the PA with the Coke announcer urging people to go ahead and grab a can of Coke to drink while shopping.

I never sample grapes or cherries, I've never run into any that are inedible by taking my chances.

Absolutely for things like drinks, one time ds had an ice cream at a small store and I absolutely brought the empty box and paid for it. But not for an occasional grape or cherry that I may taste, which I rarely do anyway.

I ask an employee when I want to sample a grape or a cherry.
