I would agree; the teachers are very ill-prepared to deal with a bright child with ADHD. Also, some of the classes have 20 students in them, so they have no time to do anything but slog on with the class. It isn't much different than an average public school.

Maybe consider the schedules of the different schools. In HS, some have block schedules with 75 minute classes and only half the classes one day and the other half the next; some have more MS schedules with eight 55 minute periods/day. Classes every other day means homework is not assigned one day and due the next which could be a pro or con depending on your child.

Because I am also 11:10 above and agree with pps that Field is disorganized. These other options are better.


I have an ADHD child at Field, they've been very accommodating and supportive. Cant compare to other schools since we are not there.
