Me! Bread does not belong up there! Should be stored in a cool dark dry place. Opposite of the top of a refrigerator/appliance.

This is unlikely, but I lived in a haunted house for a bit and all kinds of weird things happened.


Not necessarily if they knocked it off the fridge and were still up on the fridge. But you'd see some evidence somewhere.

Your fridge is old and periodically vibrates, like all old fridges do. It came on so gradually that you did not notice.

This explains why your bread is falling now, and didn't fall before.
