Recently I’ve noticed an influx of less intelligent posters. There are 2 kinds: very confrontational (often they post nonsensical “Triggered” or “too close to home” comments responding to posts where they don’t belong. They are low IQ and I won’t interact with them. There are also some older ladies who are clearly in their 70s who prattle mundanely and often tangentially, and I don’t mind them. I guarantee you that you’re wrong. Adorable that you have such a high opinion of yourself though.

I'm sure you don't, because you wouldn't want to at me if you did.

Ooooo tell me more about what you would do to me. Be specific.

I always wonder about the person on Board Feedback who is constantly posting like, a current thread, then a five year old thread, and asking Jeff if they're the same poster. Like a, why does it matter and b, how often are you here?

How are we supposed to interpret your comment? Do you want someone to feel caught by your little "gotcha" allegation? Should we celebrate your sleuthing prowess and self-proclaimed intelligence? Personally, I think it makes the person posting it sound unhinged.

Why do people do this?

You sound..... familiar.

You sound like an obsessed creeper with a crush.

That was my first post on this thread. Gee wiz, try to make a funny.....

That's not doxxing. Stop expecting privacy while you troll on someone else's website and you'll be fine.

I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER.

Stayed inside in the a/c as often as possible, like I do every summer. Everybody knows this.

Unfortunately the DCUM founder seems to indulge these shut-ins in the user feedback sub forum. Why is he constantly telling random creeps if so and so are the authors of two different threads, when this is an anonymous website? He is helping dox people.

I often do know who people are because I have a photographic memory and can recall patterns in diction and syntax. I never comment on it, though. Occasionally other posters will say this and they are often correct. There are some smart people here.

Imagine being so impotent IRL that posting weak, fake threats online is how you get off.

Maybe not in those words, but people often say they recognize a poster. I recognize one, but many other people also recognize J3 (?) guy. The guy with the very odd writing style who liked to talk about remote workers having 2 or 3 full-time jobs.

You think you recognize them.

There's a strange arrogance to it, isn't there? Is there a prize for having spent so much time here that you think you can accurately recognize who is posting what in which forums? Doesn't seem like a flex. It seems like telling on oneself to me, like maybe the sort of person who'd say this needs to get a life offline instead of obsessing about who they think is posting on DCUM.

You think you recognize them.

Nah, they use the exact same phrases in all their convos. Syntax is pretty easy to pick up on.

So you're "'Nah,' poster"? A lot of people on the internet talk like they're on the internet.
