Most gorgeous places are touristy because everyone wants to see it. You could work your way around the calendar a bit, maybe go late August when schools are back in session etc

If you are in Zurich, take the train out to Adliswil and take the gondola up to the Planetweg trail. You can easily spend half day walking the trail and get your peace and quiet.

Bull yourself. I don’t believe this for a minute. Switzerland is tiny and is well trodden territory.

We were in tiny villages you all haven’t heard of that aren’t touristy. About 30 min from Lucerne. So peaceful. Not a single loud obnoxious American tourist.

Would you mind sharing? I'll be there next month for work and could use some peace and quiet. Thank you!
