You have no idea what you’re talking about. D2 scholarships are tiny and poor kids don’t play lacrosse or sail, idiot.
Rich kids don’t play D2 sports…it exists for the poor kids that need athletic scholarships.

Winter Park native. Grew up 4 blocks from Rollins. Back then Rollins was known for preppy, wealthy, pretty kids from the Northeast. Also cute soccer boys, BMWs, and drugs (coke). Friends and I would sneak into frat parties when we were in high school and I’d attend plays with my parents. The campus sits on the shores of Lake Virginia and has a water ski team and a fabulous outdoor swimming pool. Walkable to eating and shopping on Park Ave. People around DMV think it’s a total joke school but I’m sure you can land a job when you get out and enjoy a country club life in the process. Socially speaking a kid who is worried about money would feel out of place.

I realize this isn’t the point of the post, but for educational purposes, sailing scholarships aren’t allowed. Schools might get creative for money, but it can’t be for sailing.
