This is the original national championship. So yes there are other national championships.

Right. Usys natty is the zombie temple cup series of soccer

OK ... Is that all you got? Punching down? ... That usually means the bully is ripe for a big fall. Frankly, the "elite" leagues wouldn't be as stacked as they are without players developed in the USYS. Sometimes, the only thing they are "elite" in is their marketing.

What does that even mean? What a dumb statement. Leagues don’t develop players.

Clubs in leagues DO. And historically ECNL for girls has relied heavily on recruiting from clubs in the USYS, which long has strong competitive leagues at a national level. And ECNL deserves credit, they built the better platform for college exposure BUT that doesn't mean they have the best teams especially at the youngest OR oldest age groups when college exposure is less of a thing.

Not in the DMV. This is a dc area forum.

So, then, what's the main dynamic around here?

Usysa is king.

One also could argue the competition on the field is better in USYS because they actually have a promotion/regulation type system for its old school national league -- although they've diluted it with its E64/club premier move in hopes of copying ECNL and GA.
