These regimes represent someone. He is turning to fascism because democracy doesn't represent him. It's not so different from why fascism erupted in the 1930s.

The self-owning part is that he states he doesnt care about the first amendment and then complains he got fired for 1st amendment reason. He basically said the only part of the Constitution that matters is the 2nd and any part that benefits him - and people like him- directly.

You have got to be joking on the wages? Look what the average wage bought in terms of housing years ago compared to today? Most studies today do not rely on open data sets with published methodologies that have been replicated. You're welcome to point to specific work, but I doubt it stands up.

If you want, you could look into Borjas, who says that there are some economic gains from immigration, but the benefits overwhelmingly accrue to business owners. Wealthy inequality increases over the past 40 years show as much. Also, these calculations often fail to account for the public debt incurred by supporting immigrants. Look no further than the net taxes paid/received by demography.

Yes, number goes up but the vast majority of people do not benefit. Hasan lies about that problem among many other things such as the fact whites aren't native to America. He's a clown no honest person should ever believe.

Boomers disagree with those values. However, younger Americans are increasingly embracing them as the social compact has been shredded by elected officials and business leaders.

These views are increasingly common among younger men, who have begun to question many ideas that were traditionally seen as beyond reproach. Their views on race, in particular, are quite different from Boomer-adjacent Americans.

The interesting part is that their views are becoming increasingly widespread. Because debate has been stifled on certain topics for so long, the mainstream has no answer for many of their ideas. It's going to be an interesting few years.

These people are not questioning anything. They are out right rejecting the constitution and western values. They want a supreme leader and no constitution. One can see from their performance during the debate they do not understand what they are talking about or how their embrace of these radical positions will actually impact their future. You have to be pretty deep in to the white supremacist ideology to quotes lesser know Nazis. They do not realize they were getting destroyed by Hasan.

This is a direct result of Trump and his embrace of racism and anti constitutional ideology. The 20 people in the room were in their teenage years or younger during Trumps first term. Hopefully many of these people will learn some hard lessons. The open racism, anti American, pro dictatorship, white nationalism, Christian nationalism, etc can never be put back in the bottle.

The interesting thing is that many Jews find common ground with these people because of Israel. They scream about the progressives and liberal antisemitism while embracing these guys! Wonder how that will work out?
