There’s also one right off 101 in Marin at Strawberry near Mill Valley turn off. No bay view but you can see Mount Tam.

There’s also Piatti in Strawberry (Mill Valley area along 101). That has a nice view of the marsh and Mt. Tam. But it’s a small chain.

Instead, I’d recommend Taqueria San Bruno right off the airport for good tacos or go to Stonestown Galleria mall in SF. Their food court is a bit of a foodie mecca and they have covered parking.

Yeah and don’t leave your luggage in a rental car. Like, ever.

I think their burgers are great. Better than Five Guys and a much better value. To be clear Fice Guys makes a good burger, but I swear I rake a couple months off of my life when I eat there. Maybe it’s the fries? So good, but so greasy. Back to In-N-Out…I love it and I usually avoid fast food, but make an exception for In-N-Out.

I've lived in California for 21 years. Think I've had In & Out once? It might be the best of fast food burgers, but it's not good.

Here are some great burger places in SF: https://sf.eater.com/maps/best-burgers-san-francisco-1

I’m the pp from Burlingame. There are so many places (including burger places) I’d rather go than In ‘N Out but if you did want to go there there’s one in Millbrae not far from the airport / right by 101.

Yes it's a very classic California thing. Make sure you order the fries "well done"- their fries are usually not cooked enough and come out a bit limp and not especially good. You can ask for them to be "well done" and they make a batch that cooks a bit longer, they are much more crispy that way.
