As a fellow D1 team member. I’m questioning this statement. I’m looking at the results data from dual meets. I see zero missing 15-18 boys from any of the D1 teams. I see one missing 15-18 girl from Chesterbrook. I see one missing 13-14 girl from Tuckahoe and one missing 13-14 girl from Overlee. And I see one missing 13-14 boy from Donaldson Run. I see zero missing A meet swimmers from Highlands or Old Keene Mill.

I know 2 CB 15-18 girls with top times who weren’t there, and we aren’t even a CB family.

Even if these 2 CB girls swam, they would not have had the top times in any of the events, as those top times were all very fast (and one NVSL record).

I heard the same that folks were opting out of Divisionals and All Stars. I don’t have a specific run down, but also remember that every top time I’d not reordered on your NVSL leaderboard tracker. There are B Meet times that you can’t see that could easily put these kids ahead of others on the ladder.

Chesterbrook was a great venue, though. Kids could get out of the sun pretty easily, and the weather/temperature was surprisingly moderate on Saturday. My swimmer dropped significant time in both events.

We were there too and I agree CB did a good job hosting but it was very hot on the deck with little to no shade. All of our kids added. Their friends also added except or for one minor drop. But it’s okay, it was a fun well run swim meet.

Friends in D2 dropped huge chunks at Crossepointe. Looking forward to next weekend.

The CB was hot and slow for D1 Divisionals according to some of the swimmers. The temp on the deck was definitely hot!

Looks like great results out of CP in D2! Lots of really fast swims across NVSL. Great job to the swimmers!
