Kids don't wear coats.
Even if they are walking or biking home in January?
What do kids do with bike helmets? He kept it in his locker in MS and certainly wouldn't want to carry it around all day.
rent/pay for a locker.
Do you have a child in APS? There is no “homeroom” where they begin the day.
generals period.

Hoodies. Its a thing- not a hill to die on.
No one said they were insisting their kids wear coats - just wondering if there was even an option to bring them and leave them somewhere, which seems not crazy given kids may have to walk home after school when it is raining and cold. and coats and hoodies are not the same, as the Holderness family sang: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DEhoFd7RAE7/?hl=en
Yes, they can leave them in their book bag while they’re in class. There is no reason to get a locker for a jacket They’re gonna wear 10 times next year. Seriously 1000s of the kids figure this out at every high school. Yours will too. Not a problem parents need to solve.

Because of the block schedule they don't need every book every day. The school is so big that odds are your locker would never be near where you need it to be.
Really selling the school there.
Why? This isn't just W-L. My kid at a different school has never used a locker.
