You do realize it’s located in the middle of a 720,000 acre preserve in a town with a population of 131? It’s about a 2 hour drive from Miami-Fort Lauderdale. That’s a hell of a commute.

I knew someone would bring up the awesome perk of living in a mosquito infested hellhole as a plus. You must be out of touch because there are plenty of jobs paying that much outside of the miserable Deep South.

I read a description of the tented structure and there will be AC, but there will also be mosquitoes, and disease-bearing ones at that.

Similar postings occur for overseas security roles in hellholes around the world to protect oil and gas facilities, food distribution sites in Gaza, to provide security on commercial vessels subject to attack by pirates, etc. Nothing new about jobs in difficult environments.
