Totally normal to close the door when in the bathroom, whether it is to use the toilet, shower, or groom. We do that here. But if someone needs to run in and grab something while someone else is using the bathroom, it’s totally ok. But we try to leave the other person alone otherwise.

My ex showered several times a day, including every time after #2. It was one of his quirks, we all have our own, especially about hygiene. Doesn’t seem like the worst habit to have to deal with though. My current bf sometimes clips his nails around me, I do not like it at all.

None of it seems objectionable to me except I have very sensitive skin so three showers a day would cause me physical pain.
I just never been with a guy who showers this much or closes the door to shave and pee and stuff. It’s refreshing but I was just curious if it’s normal to be this private. I’ve seen him full body naked a million times so I know that’s not an issue for him.

About 6 months. I’ve seen him fully naked a million times during sex. We have a lot of sex. He isn’t religious and is an independent. He works out once a day but showers in the morning after a workout, after work, and sometimes before bed. I’m private when I go to the bathroom but that’s it. He doesn’t shower in front of me, shave, pee, etc.

However, peeing or pooping in front of you would be gross.
It;s not weird. Just because you;re open with someone in one aspect (sex) doesn't mean you need to be open in all regards. For many people shower time is unwind and recharge time, hard to do with someone there.

Yeah apparently I'm autistic and have OCD because I like to shower after my morning workout and then like to rinse off the germs of the hospital I work at. Oh and I close the door because I like privacy when I'm in the bathroom. I also have no interest in watching DH use the bathroom.
