I wish we were a parliamentary system but we’re not.

Democrats aren’t a centrist party - they’re the identity politics/soft on crime/pork barrel spending/don’t like white men party. I say this having never voted republican since I started voting in 1992.
We need a party with common sense, leaders who care more about the country than themselves, their party or money.

The fact that Dems still consider their party to be centrist is the problem. The Dems lost their way about 20-30 years ago...creeping so far to the left that they've lost their identity.

The Democrats went left until they’re standing on the edge of the cliff. The fact that they’re closer to the center than the Republicans who went to the far right and then jumped off the edge of the cliff, missed the branch growing out of the side over thin air, and are now in freefall, does not make the Democrats centrists.
I say this as someone who has voted straight Democratic tickets in opposition to Trump/MAGA.

Musk tanked his companies for nothing. Worse than nothing since EV subsidies that benefit him are getting cut.
But GOP has been planning since the election to pass a budget busting bill. They don’t care about fiscal responsibility and never did. Musk just figured it out sooner than the rest of MAGA.
Musk FAFO’d.

And the only way to do this is eliminate money in politics. Campaign "donations", bribes, etc. shut it all down.
