NP. How could a Musk party even be a spoiler? There simply aren’t enough tech billionaire votes to go around. Trump won on immigration and opposition to ridiculous far left ideologies. Whatever it is that the tech billionaires have in mind for commoners is probably not going to resonate with many.

Sure, but a two party system doesn’t mean we need to keep the two major parties that we have. Both are done. Time for new parties. People who spot off that it’s a two party system just want to maintain the status quo rather then see a third party emerge and over take one (and hopefully the other) over a couple cycles. Both now are toxic. One openly so, the other dopes you up with a hug but stabs you in the back.

The fact that Dems still consider their party to be centrist is the problem. The Dems lost their way about 20-30 years ago...creeping so far to the left that they've lost their identity.

The Democrats went left until they’re standing on the edge of the cliff. The fact that they’re closer to the center than the Republicans who went to the far right and then jumped off the edge of the cliff, missed the branch growing out of the side over thin air, and are now in freefall, does not make the Democrats centrists.
I say this as someone who has voted straight Democratic tickets in opposition to Trump/MAGA.

Don’t feel too sorry for him. He managed to quash the multiple investigations against him in various agencies and fire the investigators.
