We were on the Mall watching the fireworks with our backs to the Capitol and there were a bunch of explosions near the concert that freaked us all out. Was there a repeated cannon blast or something in the concert?

I love A Capitol Fourth and thought this year's concert was nice. I love that there is no commercialization. I love that it showcases a variety of different styles of music and performances. I love that everyone seems happy and proud to be there.

Mike Love (84) is the only original member still performing.

The whole show. And it’s also weird how they stop broadcasting when the fireworks are still going.
