I am baffled by the modern trend of calling shapeless sacks dresses. I know it's easier and cheaper for the manufacturers, but why do women
buy this stuff?
I love dresses like this, it’s all I wear -
but I have a natural figure and don’t need to hide or accentuate anything
What does this mean? I’m a petite person and look like I was swallowed by fabric when I try to wear things like this. These dresses are just not attractive for a huge segment of the population.
Baffled by this trend PP here - I'm petite too. I'm reasonably thin, very tiny up top, and have normal sized hips (so pear shaped but not exactly curvy if that makes sense). I have a proportionately tiny torso even for my height and narrow shoulders.
I don't think there's a single body shape I've seen that look better in the shapeless dresses than they would in something appropriately fitted and designed for their shape. I have seen people who look fine in the straight/flaring out sacks, but well fitting is always better.
