They are using the same arguments as Iraq. That same exact arguments. The MSM is in full killing Iran mode. Meanwhile all the people who know are screaming Iran does not have a nuclear weapon, does not have weapon grade material and is not actively seeking a bomb.
Iran has said it would go back the deal Trump and Israel killed. That deal was signed off on by China, France, Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom, the United States and European Union but Israel vetoed it. That is crazy.
For Iraq, they at least tried to lie about the intelligence. Trump and Rubio are now telling us the intelligence is actually “irrelevant” and the only thing that matters is Trumps gut.
Well Vance tells us those other presidents were dumb. So Stable Genius’s gut it is! What could go wrong?

Exactly. The *smart* course of action would be stop sticking our nose (and missles) into the Middle East and focus on geopolitical hotspots that actually matter to our economic well being, including Europe, China/Taiwan, and Latin America. In the 1980's we had the excuse that we were dependent on Middle Eastern oil. But we are much less so today, and there's no reason to keep toppling authoritarian regimes in the area praying that secular democracy will magically take root.

The newly enlisted Marine's grandmother and great aunt were my babysitters when I was growing up in the 1980s. These women each had a small shrine in their home dedicated to their brother, a Marine who was killed in combat in Vietnam. The newly enlisted Marine's father avoided the military and instead became a cop.
History skips a generation then repeats itself. We see it happen both on macro (eg, societal) and micro (eg, family) levels.
