This entire conversation is stupid. The correct protocol is to use several GBU-57B MOPs instead of just one. There is no need for a tactical nuclear missile, and if someone reports a discussion about using one, I would be VERY WARY of that article.
Don't believe everything you read, and for God's sake, please educate yourself on the weaponry at our disposal.
GBU most likely will not work. Though the Iranians say that want to negotiate AND MAKE A DEAL SIMILAR TO THE DEAL MADE BY OBAMA, THE UNITED NATIONS AND MOST OF EUROPE. This is the correct way forward. F the neocon and pro Israelis crowd.
Iran is not actively seeking nuclear weapons. They have not taken steps to produce a nuclear weapon. This has been the case for over a decade. Israel has victory disease and thinks it can get the US to attack Iran. It is time to muzzle Israel.
Of course. All that highly enriched uranium was just a science experiment, since it has no civilian application. How could we not see the peaceful intent behind such activity, especially when combined with Iran's long-standing dedication to the eradication of Israel, the U.S. and other Western nations which fail to acknowledge the Islamic Republic's wonderfulness? A mere academic exercise, that's surely all those peaceful Islamists have been up to.
There isn’t a reliable source that said that they were close to a nuclear weapon, even comrade tulsi said so. Of course, the two of them might be getting their propaganda mixed up.
They are not close to a nuclear bomb, so Israel is manufacturing a false sense of urgency to distract from its Gazan destruction, and it seeking to exploit having a dunce in the White House.
BUT ALSO
It's obvious to anyone with two neurons to rub together that Iran's ultimate goal is a nuclear bomb. It's practically alone in a Middle East full of hostile nations! Anyone would want a bomb in the same circumstances.
AND ALSO
Another factor to consider is that at this specific moment in time, Iran is more fragile than usual because its proxies Hamas and Hezbollah have recently been significantly weakened by Israel (using billions of US dollars over many years to invest in Mossad and defense intelligence, as well as weapons). Hezbollah will regroup at some point, the wheel of fortune may change, etc... so is it now or never?
BOTTOM LINE : it's not as simple a dilemma as you might expect.
If you’re Israel. If you’re America, not getting drawn into another Middle Eastern regional conflict based on spotty intelligence is exactly what Trump ran on and probably the only thing MAGA and Democrats agree on (neocons are willing to bomb anything, anywhere for any reason).

The IAEA has confirmed that Iran has been rapidly upgrading their uranium to weapons grade. And there's no confusion about that, regardless of what Tulsi says. Weapons grade uranium is very different than anything that might conceivably be used for peaceful or civilian use. Iran is the belligerent here. There's not a single country in the Middle East that wants to see Iran with a nuclear weapon. Iran made a mistake going for weapons grade uranium. The entire region wants to see that program obliterated. It's not coincidental that Syria, Jordan, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia are all helping Israel right now.
It’s fine, she got her new talking points.
BREAKING: In stunning turnaround DNI Tulsi Gabbard makes 180 degree shift on Iran, says “America has intelligence that Iran is at the point that it can produce a nuclear weapon within weeks to months, if they decide to finalize the assembly”
Why might this be?
“The major step is the culmination of several festering stand-offs between the International Atomic Energy Agency and Iran that have arisen since President Donald Trump pulled the U.S. out of a nuclear deal between Tehran and major powers in 2018 during his first term, after which that deal unravelled.”

Is probably want a nuke too if I was surrounded by belligerents.

However, I don't really think we are considering a tactical nuclear bomb to drop.
However, I live with someone with some real life experience in studying fall out. and he says that fallout would not be a big issue if it were deep in the ground. But, he also does not believe they will use one.

Weapons engineering says otherwise, PP.
Also, don't say they won't work and in the same breath argue another treaty is better. I am not disagreeing with you about the value of diplomacy and negotiations. Just pointing out that it's obvious you're talking nonsense about a MOP just because you don't want to use it.
Argue better.
