I’ve been consistently around 290-295 per year for the last three years.

I basically stopped watching TV aside from a few sporting events and about 30 minutes of news while getting ready in the morning.

I’m also really good at putting on music on my phone with a Bluetooth speaker and leaving the phone in another room.

Agree, I bring my book with me everywhere. I read a page every 1-2 minutes, and I prefer books with short chapters. I can read a chapter while waiting for my lunch at a restaurant or picking up my kids from camp.

I aim for 6 a month, 72 a year. Sometimes I do 8 or more, sometimes 4 or 5, mostly depending on what type sof books I'm reading and what else is going on in my life.

I generally go to bed about half an hour earlier than everyone else and get reading in that way, or there's an evening everyone is out, or I drop a kid at sports training and read during that time instead of going home.

On my commute I listen to podcasts, so no audiobooks for me.

Book a week but if not working sometimes 2-3 a week.

I listen to about 75 books per year and read about 10.

Striving for 25 in 2025. Thus far, I’ve read 10 and am ready into another book.

I’m a fast reader so I anticipate I’ll surpass my goal.

This. I read one a month, plus every New Yorker.

It helps to have older kids who are off doing their own thing. I read more now than I did when they were little, not least because I need a quiet environment to read. I can't deal with noise and distractions, and little kids are nothing but noise and distractions.

I also don't read anything else during my leisure-reading time. I read the news while I'm at work-- it's relevant to my job. I never read gossip or fashion magazines, and only occasionally longform journalism that isn't related to work.

I pretty consistently read one book a week during regular working times. Obviously some are three-day reads and some are ten-day reads, but it averages out to 55-60 a year. (Two+ a week during breaks.)
