I agree that trying to obstruct law enforcement officers is reprehensible.
ICE is not LEO.

Civil immigration enforcement is a warrantless detention. Perfectly legal.
ICE warrants are Administrative, not Judicial, meaning they’re signed by an agency staffer.

“I will let go when I see the judicial warrant”
He went hands on with a federal agent during an arrest. This is what happens. BTW, I saw men wearing items of clothing that identified them as law enforcement.
He has no right to insist to see a warrant.
At this point I think we can all agree that these democratic lawmakers are making a scene in order to get arrested. Probably to raise their profiles. We see how that worked out for Ras Baraka.
Why doesn't he have a right to see a warrant?
He is not the attorney of the person arrested.
Attorneys are not the only people with a right to see a warrant.
Comptrollers are not among those that do have the right.
Nor are Mayoral candidates.

What's wrong with providing a warrant? If ICE is acting lawfully, they should have no problem providing this.
They are not obligated to show the warrant to anyone who demands it. Face it - this guy isn’t as important as he thinks he is.
Being a comptroller of NY is a hella lot more important than being a thug ICE Agent who probably makes $65K at best.

They were a dirty little secret that was kept in check by decent Constitution abiding administrations.
Now we have Trump and Miller running a Nazi state. Of course ICE will get out of hand.
NOTHING was kept in check. It was a GD free for all. Now the rollback begins.
