The diapers have enough elasticity that they can still pull them up and down if they need to use the bathroom

MY Daugther was okay wearing a pull-up at night but not a diaper.

My kid actually preferred them because he could easily change them without removing his pajamas.

Was jumping in to say the same thing. DC wet almost every night until about 12. Then it just stopped.

We used the Malem bedwetting alarm at the recommendation of the urologists at children’s national and it worked for our 8 year old in just a few weeks. Much cheaper than the therapee. They also recommended a lot of focus on daytime hydration and bathroom use at school which I believe helped.

I think if you’re kid is staying at a friends or relatives house or anywhere other than home it’s better to have them wear the protection rather than risking an accident that could not only be very upsetting to them but also very inconveniencing to other people.
