More details:
During a press conference, the Minnesota Department of Public Safety said at about 2 a.m., officers were responding to a call of a shooting at the home of Sen. Hoffman.
While responding, they were asked to check on Hortman’s house. When they arrived, they saw an SUV equipped with lights, mimicking a squad vehicle, and were confronted by a man dressed as an officer. DPS reported the man fired at police, who returned fire, before retreating into the home.
Walz called the shootings a targeted attack. Minnesota DPS reported they found a manifesto while searching the suspect’s vehicle that had a list of other state lawmakers.
“This was an act of targeted political violence,” Walz said.

I haven’t seen a single maga express any condolences or sadness. Just automatically going on the defensive. Not sure why that surprises me. It happens after every school shooting as well. Come on, maga. Can you just acknowledge that violence is uncalled for, no matter what the motive, and call on your orange king to acknowledge these murders?
