It will vary. I wouldn’t take kids to downtown DC, and don’t plan to go myself. On the other hand, Leisure World or Connecticut Avenue will probably be fine.

There are NO 5050 No Kings protests planned in D.C. on Saturday. The protests are planned for everywhere Trump is not. The main one is in Philly.

DC hotels are basically empty for Friday to Sunday and people are leaving the city to avoid the nonsense.

Any rioters or violence in DC on Saturday will be paid aggitators for MAGA.

Philly is the main protest site for No Kings but there are local ones planned all over the country which have been overwhelmingly peaceful for months.

Find a spot, bring a sign and a lawn chair and make a day of it.

Oh boy! We get to carry signs & act like victims & march & chant & pout & throw rocks at cops. And we will feel soooo proud of ourselves!!!

PP, why do you pick these photos instead of the 99.9 percent of photos and videos of totally peaceful protesting in LA? That is not just manipulative, it is deceit.

I agree with the bolded as I am also part of a local Indivisible group. No looters or rioters--just normal people expressing their 1st amendments rights peacefully. Our MAGA friends like to decry any sort of protest (except when it involves their people like on Jan. 6), but the reality on the ground is that most protests that have been occurring nationwide are overwhelmingly peaceful. But you won't know that if you live in the MAGA ecosphere.

Fox News Channel, NewsNation, and C-SPAN are the primary channels offering live coverage. The other channels will air their normal programming but may provide some parade coverage on their streaming platforms.

I'm going. It will be my 3rd Democrat rally in the last couple months. It is reassuring to see so many who are concerned like I am. I hope the parade is a big flop.
