What's weird is that you don't travel with your own toilet seats. Gross.

My uncle used to call those “the Cadillac of toilets.”

The strange thing is that during the day when we have the air conditioner on because it is very hot outsude the cushioned toilet seats will make you sweat to the point of almost passing out but at night when the air conditioner is off and we have the windows open because it is much cooler outside we don't sweat nearly as much on them. They are quite comfortable. Still a little warm though.

We are in danger of losing our democracy and you are asking about padded toilet seats!

This is a bizarre thread. I work in home healthcare, lots of elders and disabled people have cushioned toilet seats for comfort, they are no less hygienic than a regular toilet seat, they are sealed and a nonporous surface so they can be disinfected by bleach wipes exactly the same as a hard toilet seat.

OP and others freaking out over cushioned toilet seats are weird. Newsflash: you shouldn't be eating off a toilet seat, even if it was just cleaned. And even if you just showered, the area of your body that touches a toilet seat is teeming with microbial life.

+1. OP must be overweight. This wouldn’t bother me. If the condo isn’t clean that’s a different issue.

+1 Sweating to the point of passing out on a toilet seat is some real Elvis shit.

If you have your own private bathroom that nobody else uses, cushioned toilet seats are actually quite comfortable.

Um. Wow. I remember these from visiting older relatives, in the 70s.

Can you hover?
