I personally stop every two hours or so. I need to pee, stretch my legs, etc. Driving with people like you is exhausting.
You're stopping 4 times on an 8 hour trip? That's insane.
I do that. Just as you need to walk around a plane for the sake of your circulation, you also need to get out of the car regularly and walk around a bit.
Exactly. I’m not sure why that’s such a hard concept to understand. I’m guessing most of the posters saying that it’s crazy are men eager to race to the destination so they can do some more sitting there.
I imagine it’s mostly men doing the driving and want to get there as quick as possible to get away from their nagging wives wondering why they haven’t stopped every hour like they want to.

We have driven straight from the Gulf of Florida to VA in one day.

This is good advice. Or a can of fix a flat which you can buy at any auto parts store.

Driving with people like you is exhausting because you make the trip SO much longer than it needs to be. Every two hours is ridiculous. Suck it up and stay on the road.
Nope, I pee when I have to pee. I'm not getting a UTI because you are in a rush to get there. Suck it up and wait for 5 min.
NP here
Same. Plus, my foot starts to really hurt from the angle of the gas pedal if I go too long without taking a walk break. I had a previous fracture on that foot, so not sure if that's the only reason why or if it's something that is common.
