Elderly and unfit politicians holding executive leadership positions and therefore making election victories difficult for their parties is not the same as "exploiting laws". The only things that were exploited in 2020 and 2024 were the very weak sitting presidents.

I am old enough to remember protests against Vietnam brought down a president and got us out of Viet Nam war. A fool wasting one billion dollars on his Ego parade and even bigger fools in Congress allow this debauchery.

Nam protests were not riots like we see in LA today.

Civil disobedience to some degree played a part in the protests of the 60s and 70s but law enforcement didn't tolerate mass looting like we see these days.
