Congrats to Herndon and congrats to the runners-up Wakefield as well. Soccer is one of the most competitive sports in the state.

Extracurriculars really make school in my opinion. So happy for this kid!

Agree about the larger class sizes at SJS. It’s two classes of 30 for each grade other than K which is 3 x 20. SJS has also had a lot of teacher turnover recently and the principal and AP both retired this year.

I would second the Aldrin/Armstrong recommendation, where we ended up after one year at SJS. Several other students are in the same scenario- now there after a year or more at SJS.

St. Joe’s has huge class sizes and no special education help.

Two kids who did Clearview/Herndon MS/Herndon HS. Loved all three.
