It has little variety, just larger quantities. I agree with the Cracker Barrel crossed with Walmart comment, down to the ticky-tacky home decor and cheap branded clothing.

Been in 2 on road trips. No need to do that again.

Maybe the problem is that I was introduced to it too late in life. If the Stuckey's of my youth returned, for example, I'd be thrilled. But Buc-ees has no hold on me.

Yes this. It's worth a stop if you are driving by, but I would not drive there to just simply GO to Buc-ees. We went in Texas and it was fun, but not "drive 4 hours round trip" fun.

Special trip to go there? No. Would we stop if needing to fuel up coming down 81? Sure.

Only have been to 1 and that was in Florence, SC when we were driving to Charleston.

Was it huge? Yes. Was it crowded? Yes. Were the bathrooms clean? Yes. Was the food good? Yes. Did we spend too much time there? Yes. Did we buy snacks and themed gear? Yes.

More likely to hit the one coming in New Kent on the way to the beach or on 95 as well.
