Maybe you should take a look at the teams playing in the FIFA Club World Cup academies and see if their U13 kids are tiny midgets

Teams were selected based on their Quality of Play (QoP) rankings, not on their win/loss record. QoP is a new score created and calculated by MLS Next. So the Achilles U13 team played 32 games this season -- 3 wins, 1 tie, 28 losses. But their QoP ranking -- which was obviously better than their win/loss record -- got them a spot in the Premier level (2nd tier) of the MLS Next Cup. Who knows if the QoP rankings are valid?
Achilles will likely lose all their games. But with great quality.

I appreciate a club/team that uses its entire bench. Because at this stage, it’s about development. Our subs have definitely gotten a lot better and earned their playing time and teammates trust.
I love this too. It really is about development up until 15-16 years old. The coaches that do not get it are not gonna get it no matter what you do and the ones that do get it develop talent and contribute to this beautiful game We all love.

Not cool to bash the kids
Wait, is this the same kids that lost 28 times? You gotta be kidding me.
you're seriously trying to justify talking like this about 11, 12, 13 year old kids?
I think this might be the Achilles FC stalker. Their DC was not given a shot on the 2011 squad (I believe) a couple years ago. Since then, no topic is taboo for them to dump on as it relates to Achilles.
For a boutique club, they are doing fine. Not sure why all the hate.
You don't know what you are talking about. DCUM is filled with negative comments about Achilles beginning in at least 2020 through today. If you don't understand why there is so much anger towards the club, then you don't know what has gone on and continues to go on there. Boutique club?! Not even close.
this is actually fascinating and brilliant if they are using the whole bench. I wonder if the GA girls will do the same. My daughter had an ecnl coach that seemed to carry a this mindset of development. Was ahead of his time.Anonymous wrote:This is the first year that the U13 and U14 teams are playing in the MLS Next Cup.
