I agree. One of the greatest casualties of the Trump era. They have made lying endlessly and brutally acceptable and even desirable. They have undermined trust in beneficial institutions that are essential to maintain our freedoms and democracy. I get so angry at how gullible and stupid our fellow citizens are.
