Yes I could google it, but since many here are totally convinced it's happening, I want to see what you're reading.
You comes off kind of passive aggressive. When you say with “Yeah, I could just Google it,” you admit you do not really need help, so it feels like you are testing us rather than really asking. Saying “since many here are totally convinced” hints that you think we are gullible, and “totally” ramps up your sarcasm. “I want to see what you’re reading” flips the burden on us prove a point. You are scoffing while pretending to be polite.
So, go to google and do a search.

Trade would be more suitable for the older one. Younger one has an investment account which should be millions by the time he is 30.
I'm moving abroad where property taxes are very low and healthcare is affordable. Will be come back to DC/FL few months a year.
My own money should continue to grow faster than I can spend. I don't need the SS payments, but will take them at 62. I can do better job investing the money than government's return for waiting.
This ‘investment expert’ poster pops up on every thread. If you have been able to accumulate ‘millions’ in an investment fund for a child, without a white collar job, what, pray tell, are you doing?
I'm the PP who asked for the link. It's because I may not be seeing the most convincing arguments. I honestly do want to understand how and when AI will displace white collar work.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anyone have a good link on how/why/when or evidence that white collar jobs are going away?

There is literally nothing we can do about this (I guess aside from learning a trade, but if this does happen, wouldn’t the market be way over saturated?)
OP sounds crazy.
You sound crazy trying to control the amount of discussion going and not seeming to understand that these discussion are about what CAN be done when you ask what can be done.
It’s brainstorming, PP, don’t read it if you’re not interested, but don’t come on here calling names and trying to shut it down
I am convinced there are some people on this site who love misery and relish in the idea of us all being destitute on the streets. There are several threads on jobs that WON’T be replaced by AI and (I’m convinced) the same annoying, smarmy poster responds to decent suggestions with ‘BUT ACKSHUALLY…a robot will clean bed pans in the future…’

You just sound really awkward and weird.
Anonymous internet person, you don’t have the authority or personal standing to define who I am, so the names you throw out won’t change my reputation or self-worth in the eyes of anyone else reading or make me question them myself. You may not be a real person, and if you are, you are just bunch of 000s and 1111s, a nothingness.

Because we can talk about what we want to talk about. Are you a prophet? You know is someone is sitting at home with a medical emergency or not?
