Feels like Kiki had a pretty good career in big law for many years so probably has a nice nest egg at least. I find it hard to believe she didn’t do anything to secure at least a little bit of the foundation and more financial security but I guess we just have to accept that plot hole.

Poor Pete. That guy. Misses out on 13 years of relationship with his kids and blames Kiki. Decides the best way forward is just to have another kid or two, but he won’t live long enough to see them much past early adulthood. I like how Kiki said, none of it will make you younger. So true.

Simone will be calling on Devon for help raising the kids, with Peter being more like a grandfather and no real grandparents in the picture. Kiki will have money but she also has the spending habits that require an unlimited bank account.

Why was the Vanity Fair photographer following Peter like a paparazzi? That's one heck of a shot to get the perfect camera angle and to take the photo at the exact moment of a kiss that lasted a fraction of a second. What good does it do to destroy the photo, the photographer certainly can make another copy? Wouldn't the photographer have given Kiki some context for the photo?

She's right, of course, but I still didn't find her sympathetic in the end. Maybe she was a better person when she was in law.

A PA would absolutely be in a tier above the rest of the help. The hierarchy of a household staff has indoor staff above outdoor staff, and assistants above all else-- think "ladies in waiting."

Reminded me a little of August, Osage County, with all of the interactions between damaged characters with deep seeded resentments.

Kind of a slow build up to the last two episodes. Although I didn't find the ending to be shocking. Peter was following his established pattern.
