DP. Yes, really. This is not a hard concept to understand.There are bad apples at every event. There are Neo-nazis at conservative events. There are people shouting "death to police" at BLM events. This does not mean you assume everyone there also shares the most extreme view.

Can trace arrival to North America before there was a United States of America on both sides of the family. Conservative and sent both kids to school in the UK. One going back for grad school in the fall.

Why? School is about what you want to study, meet the published admission standards and you are in. Universities are better run and education is of a higher caliber.

True….but par for the course with the elite…..hard to find any MAGA from very wealthy families in California and NY, the two states that sends the most number of kids to EU/UK schools.

Both of my kids went to uni in the UK. We have met countless parents from friends and other going to those two schools. We hosted for years send off parties to those two not to be named schools (1 in Scotland and 1 in England). In 6 years doing this, we met one conservative parent. One….form the hundreds we’ve met over the years.

Not wealthy but my child who is attending a London school can trace their lineage back to a name on the revolutionary war roster for the Delaware regiment. There's actually a whole mess of old families from that side of the bloodline. The same would apply to their 3rd cousin once removed who also studied in the UK.
