Biden’s southern border was wide open.
Sure let's just make up stuff.
Given the lack of due process the reality is they aren't adequately determining who is and isn't following legal processes and who is and isn't a criminal. That's what due process is.

This is only the beginning.
If you are in the U.S. illegally, you just have to go back.
Yeah, you can do your own roofing and landscaping from now on. So dumb!
Your argument is:
“but who will pick the cotton?”
Is your argument: "We don't need fresh fruits or vegetables"?

So you're PRO illegal labor and PRO undercutting of middle class blue collar jobs for Americans? Such a winning strategy.
I think the reason we are in this situation is because middle class americans didn't want to do those jobs.
" think the reason we are in this situation is because middle class americans didn't want to do those jobs for subpar wages."
Fixed that for you.
Yes, that's now true. Kinda hard to have appropriate wages when you are constantly undercut by a gigantic black market of illegal labor.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Given their record, I'm just worried that they will deport people without due process, or even people who actually have the right to stay, temporarily or not. Immigration law is extremely complex, and you can't just round up people like cattle and put them on the next flight out.
Not to mention they're often sending their American citizen children (some of whom have health problems). And they are deporting people to indefinite detention in prisons and war zone countries.

When we reward this behavior by applauding their "numbers," we are just enabling the Gestapo-like behavior.

There are approximately 1.1 million people in the USA with final orders of removal. Meaning: they have already received full due process and have exhausted all appeals.
But ICE only has 6k Removal Officers, whose job it is to find, arrest, and arrange the removal of those 1.1 million people (including getting “travel documents” for them, such as passports from their home countries).
Do you know how long it takes to get a foreign passport from another country?

Why is it that every single other country in the world with far lower levels of illegal immigration are perfectly capable of picking and growing their own food? Look at countries like South Korea to Japan, which have almost zero illegal immigration compared to the US. Somehow they're capable of producing enough food at very affordable prices that are often cheaper than even the US. How is it that they're capable of doing all of that without hordes of illegal immigration? You're just regurgitating big AG lobbyists' talking points who want to undercut American labor in order to drive up their stock prices.
+1
